Whether it’s celebrating attendance milestones, personal fitness goals, or friendly community competition, Member Awards offer a meaningful way to motivate and engage your members.

Awards can now be enhanced with the Friends and Leaderboards, allowing members to connect with friends through the GymMaster App. The friend-only Leaderboards display friends visit streaks and awards, adding an extra layer of motivation while fostering community support and a sense of friendly competition among selected friends.

Award Types

System Awards

‘System’ refers to existing awards which come pre-loaded within GymMaster
System awards can be enabled individually, within Advanced Configuration > Awards

• Pre-created awards
• Can be awarded weekly, monthly, or yearly
• Based on quantifiable variables such as highest visits, highest class attendance, most bookings
• No task is required to trigger
• Enabled through Awards Settings in Advanced Configuration
• Cannot be modified

System Task Awards

Task awards use Task Automation to create conditions in which an award is automatically applied.
While still limited in their scope, task awards offer more flexibility than System Awards.

• Pre-created Task type
• Applied when specific variables are met, such as member attending the club 100 times
• Activation of award is automatic, once trigger event occurs
• Limited by existing task trigger options; we’re working to improve this
• Can be modified

Custom Awards

Create any award you envision, noting that some awards will need to be assigned manually.
There are two custom award types that can be created; Task Awards and Manual Awards;

1. Custom Task Awards

Requires Custom Award Template and Task Type

• Created by staff, to add to Task Award collection
• Requires Award Template and Task type
• Applied when specific variables are met, such as member attending the club 100 times
• Activation of award is automatic, once trigger event occurs
• Limited by existing task trigger options

2. Custom Manual Awards

Manual Awards can be used when a custom award does not match a task-trigger event

• Requires Award Template
• No limits! Create the award you really want
• Unhindered by limitations within Tasks
• Needs to be awarded to member manually

Awards are awarded and stored digitally in each member’s Communication > Awards tab, accessible by members anytime via the Member Portal.
