In register mode (cardsentry lite mode), the gatekeeper returns any readers that it detects. It is important that the readers are detected as this is used to automatically create doors to link to GymMaster.

Tick the checkbox after completing a test and use the Notes fields to record the outcome

Does the reader show on the LCD screen.

Notes

Instructions:

Connect the ethernet cable, reader and power supply to your gatekeeper.
Wait briefly for the gatekeeper to start-up and the LCD screen to turn on.
There are two ports, the bottom port is connected to door 1. While the top port is connected to door 2.
Look at the screen. If the screen displays SENTINELW1.0 next to its associated door, the reader is connected.

Check the readers idle lights.
