Welcome to our new-look GymMaster!

For users already on v1405 or higher, you may have noticed a subtle aesthetic redesign being introduced across GymMaster.
This is part of our ongoing commitment to improve and refine the platform.

Key updates are found on the Member Details tab, where we’ve rearranged fields for improved flow.

Overview of main changes you’ll find on the Member Page:

• Tags Update: Create new tags within member page
• Manage Devices and Subscriptions: Moved to bring together communication and app / door access
• Key Fobs / Tokens: Door access options now hidden
• Marketing Section: Existing fields combined into a new marketing section

Tags

✅ Updated

With our latest update, you can now create new digital labels directly from the Member Page.
Simply click on the Tags field, type your new tag name, and press enter.
When you’re done, save the page to apply your changes.

Tags can still be edited as usual within Custom Fields for further management.

Tags provide a simple way to group members without assigning a membership type.
For example, you might tag all New Members or create a tag for those joining a Summer Fun Run.
These tags can then be used as a filter in Find Members, and in Reports to send targeted communications to specific groups.
Tags can be added manually by staff or automatically using an Automated Task.

Manage Devices

Our Bluetooth Access security feature helps prevent a single Member Portal account from sharing Bluetooth access across multiple devices.
Limit app and Bluetooth access to specific, authorized devices—enhancing security and ensuring fair use of your club’s facilities.

Subscriptions

✅ Moved

Choose whether members receive general communications via SMS or Email, or opt them out completely based on their preferences.

Key Fobs / Tokens

Assign door access to individual members here; Key Fobs, Bluetooth and Passcodes (when installed and enabled).

Key Fobs: RFID tags; scan tag to link to member. Tags of various styles can be ordered from Gymmaster, with option to add logo and specified club details.
Passcode: Option will display when passcode reader is installed. 7 digit code suggested; members given individual passcode, linked to their account
Bluetooth: Use phone to access gym, via Member Portal. Bluetooth requires Bluetooth Reader to be installed, and Member Portal access enabled.

Marketing

We’ve consolidated existing promotional and sales fields into a dedicated Marketing section.
